2026 Honda® Transalp E-Clutch

A great bike, now even better

This year brings exciting news for our Transalp: for 2026, we're giving it our revolutionary E-Clutch, which takes a bike that was already super-versatile and makes it even better, on-road and off. In Europe, the Transalp has long held legendary status thanks to how it blends power, smoothness, off-pavement capability and comfort. Now, with E-Clutch added, the chances of stalling in challenging terrain are minimized, clutchless up- and downshifts are possible everywhere, and you still get the total control that a handlebar-mounted clutch lever provides. Off-road, you'll even be able to spin the rear wheel when the need arises! As with ABS, it's available when you need it and stays non-intrusive when you don't. Other nice bonuses include this year's new skid plate and front and rear suspension damping that's adjustable. Where's the first place you'll take yours?

Features may include:

Spoked wheels
  • For better performance on dirt, off-road bikes rely on wire wheels with traditional spokes. Thanks to the 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel sizes, there's a broad choice of tires suited to different terrains.
Riding modes
  • Five riding modes (Sport, Standard, Rain, Gravel, and a custom setting) let you pick from various levels of power delivery, engine braking, and ABS intervention—or, in the two User modes, even set your own. Changing from one mode to another is easy.
Honda E-Clutch
  • Honda's E-Clutch gives you the best of both worlds. For one, you can shift using your left foot with no need for the handlebar-mounted clutch. For another, you still have the option of using it as a conventional clutch, yet it also serves as a quick-shifter, allowing clutchless, full-throttle gear changes both up and down for riders hungry for performance. Plus, it helps contribute to your peace of mind in all riding conditions.
TFT display
  • Its 5.0-inch full-color LCD display comes with a variety of options and shows key details such as speed, fuel level, trip distance, gear position, and much more.
