• 450cc Unicam® engine

Built with a narrow valve angle, the compact, light Unicam® cylinder head design boosts combustion chamber efficiency, raises the compression ratio, and brings the center of gravity down.

• Tripleclamps, axle, and steering stem

Versus the prior generation, we reworked the tripleclamps, frame, fork, and steering stem to improve chassis rigidity and responsiveness, giving the bike a better feel in corners.

• Hydraulic clutch

Drawing inspiration from our Grand Prix MX machines, the hydraulically actuated clutch requires a clutch lever pull 10% lighter than an equivalent cable setup. It also does away with adjustments, providing optimal performance through even the longest motos.

The slender bodywork allows the bike more freedom, while a reduced number of fasteners makes off-bike maintenance easier.

• Detailed bodywork mounting

It might look like a minor detail, but each second matters when you’re working on your bike between motos. Using fewer mounting bolts improves serviceability whether you’re at the track or in your garage.

• Engine mode selection button

Tailor how your engine delivers power on the fly using the handy blue button mounted on the left side of the handlebar, which lets you easily toggle among Standard, Smooth, and Aggressive modes to match changing track conditions or rider preference.
