Working alongside our worldwide team of gifted young test riders, we've created a 2-stroke motocross bike that can only be called incredible! Practically everything has changed, from the new frame and WP shock to the upgraded motor and reworked bodywork, resulting in a seriously fresh MC 85 in 2025. Beyond the boost in performance, the riding experience is also considerably better. Slimmer ergonomics plus a handlebar bend made specifically for younger racers build confidence and make track laps so much more fun. Taken together, these changes produce a bike offering incredible performance and rideability for a motorcycle this small. And one thing we can guarantee: kids will absolutely love it!

Taking inspiration from our full-size motocross machines, the MC 85 gets scaled-down bodywork made specifically for young riders. Thanks to the slim rear end and lowered seat height (33.2 in / 845 mm), moving around on the bike is easy, sitting or standing. The side panels sit close to the frame and subframe for optimal leg grip, and GASGAS-specific textures on the seat and tank spoiler improve control and comfort.

Made with control and comfort in mind, the MC 85's black anodized aluminum handlebars have a bend shaped specifically for younger riders. This shape helps kids ride confidently with proper technique, and black ODI grips -- the same as on our full-size bikes -- provide a secure hold. A sleek crash pad brings added protection and rounds out the race-ready look.

With performance and simple maintenance in mind, the MC 85 airbox uses top-mounted ducts to route air efficiently into the motor. A snap-lock system holds the Twin Air filter securely in place, and reaching it requires no tools: just take off the side panel. This clever setup keeps things flowing and makes checking the filter fast and hassle-free.
