• Adjustablity

Built to grow along with the little racer, the KTM 65 SX offers height adjustability. Scientific statistical data and mannequins were used to build various options into its construction. That makes it ultra easy to find the right fit for your junior ripper, with height adjustable suspension, handlebar position, subframe, and bodywork that take the seat height from a low 28.1 in (715 mm) up to a taller 29.9 in (760 mm).

• Performance

With the latest 2-stroke technology on board, the KTM 65 SX sets the standard at the starting gate. Along with the lightest and most durable materials, the engine uses a pressure-controlled exhaust valve that provides top-level performance via its manual 6-speed transmission. The crankshaft mounting concept also makes maintenance easier.

• Airbox and Filter

In the airbox, a conventional suction sleeve made of hard-wearing polyamide is used in place of rubber, and a Twin Air filter mounting system uses snap locks for easy, intuitive mounting. The Twin Air filter also sits under the seat, where it can be reached easily without tools just by taking off the seat. Dirt intrusion resistance is improved as well: no more dirt drops into the intake tract when the filter is changed.

• Wheels & Tires

Fresh off the race rig and into the pit lane, the KTM 65 SX rolls on lightweight, black anodized, aluminum rims, just like the full-size KTM SX range. They deliver the highest levels of strength and reliability, while MAXXIS MX-ST tires provide outstanding performance on any terrain along with exceptional straight-line stability.

• Exhaust

Built using the same manufacturing process as the full-size 2-stroke KTM SX range, the exhaust system offers high overall quality and performance. The result has been massive progress in thermodynamics. On top of that, better sealing on the silencer end cap and a rubber between the header pipe and silencer bring another level of quality to the system. The silencer wears a black anodized finish and delivers a signature 'Braaaaap!'. Among the modifications are a new flange gasket for improved durability and a redesigned exhaust valve ventilation. More efficient, locally sourced manufacturing at KTM HQ makes it more 'bulletproof'.
