A 292cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine powers the KLX®300SM, the ultimate lightweight supermoto motorcycle. Enjoy a rewarding spread of power throughout the rev range. Crisp throttle response and smooth delivery of power help riders of every skill level work their way through stop-and-go traffic in the city, explore country back roads, or feel the thrill of supermoto racing at their own local track. Starting is easy thanks to electric start; fuel injection aids reliable starts across a wide range of conditions and plays a part in excellent fuel economy.

• BRING THE FUN TO THE STREET

A slim, lightweight perimeter frame forms the basis of the KLX®300SM motorcycle; it's maneuverable yet stays rigid at higher speeds to aid straight-line stability. Quick handling comes in part from the smaller front wheel, the caster angle (25°), and the short wheelbase. The suspension provides 9.1 in of front travel and 8.1 in at the back, ideal for riding supermoto. Up front, a 43mm inverted cartridge-style fork features adjustable compression damping for optimized suspension performance. Out back, the Uni-Trak® suspension provides adjustable compression and rebound damping along with fully adjustable preload, so riders can set up the shock to suit personal preference. A powerful, large 300mm semi-floating petal disc with a twin-piston caliper at the front and a 240mm petal disc with a single-piston caliper at the rear deliver substantial stopping power. Further enabling agile supermoto performance are 17-in wheels and road tires, which contribute to better handling on the street.

Riding the KLX®300SM motorcycle is comfortable thanks to a relaxed, upright riding position. Complementing the rider-friendly ergonomics are a thick-padded seat, rubber-dampened footpegs, and a 33.9-in seat height that lets riders reach the ground comfortably when stopped, which boosts confidence. For extra comfort in traffic, an innovative radiator fan sends hot air downward and away from both the rider and high-touch areas. The design of the shrouds permits smooth transitions during shifting, which lets riders feel more at one with their machine in corners.
