• Programmed fuel injection

Using parameters like temperature, elevation, throttle position, and riding style, the PGM-FI system tunes fuel levels to sharpen response and boost power and torque throughout the whole rev range.

• Stainless steel exhaust

Made of polished stainless steel, the exhaust is integrated seamlessly with the rear footpeg mount, which optimizes mass centralization and takes handling to a higher level. We refer to this as functional aesthetics.

• Disc brakes

Up front, a pair of 296mm discs paired with four-piston radial-mount calipers deliver strong, predictable braking power. For a perfect fit, the front brake lever can be adjusted.

• Pro-Link® rear suspension

With a shock offering nine-stage adjustable preload and 4.7 inches of travel, our Pro-Link® rear suspension delivers plenty of comfort along with agile handling.

• Steel-tube frame

• Cast wheels

The multi-spoke cast aluminum wheels are light and designed to enhance handling and work with a variety of sticky street tires. On top of that, they clean up easily and just plain look good.

• Slipper clutch

Drawing on Honda's racing pedigree, the slipper/assist clutch cuts clutch lever effort by 45 percent versus previous systems and locks up tight automatically when released, cutting down rear-wheel hop during hard deceleration.

• Smooth transmission

Inside the six-speed transmission, our engineers shaped the profile of the shift dogs to help you shift with less effort every time. You’ll probably never lay eyes on these components, but their effect on how you ride is unmistakable.
