Twin-cylinder 1084cc engine
Smooth torque across the whole rpm range comes from our narrow 1084cc Unicam® parallel-twin engine, so it's great for everything from riding off-road to cruising the highway all day.
Wheels and tires
Every Africa Twin model rolls on wire-spoked wheels. Standard models use a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel, designed for better off-road performance, while Adventure Sports ES models receive a 19-inch front wheel with more of a road focus, along with wider rims.
Low center of gravity
We've built a platform for excellent handling by using a compact engine and locating heavy parts such as the battery close to the bike's center of gravity.
