Built to please every rider, novice through pro, the KTM 250 SX-F is a genuinely user-friendly package. Don't assume for one second that this means it's compromised, though - beyond dispute, it is READY TO RACE at any level.

• EASY SUSPENSION ADJUSTMENT

As always, both ends of the suspension offer simple setup with no tools needed, so you go after the podium with total control. At the rear, riders can tune high- and low-speed settings within seconds using a dual compression option that adjusts by hand. Up front, the forks are also simple to modify, thanks to hand-adjustable clickers located on the top cap and the bottom of the fork shoe.

• AIRBOX

Built for maximum airflow, the air filter box uses precisely placed inlet ducts intended to prevent air deformation and keep the filter protected. The Twin Air filter and its support use a simple, fail-proof mounting system so the filter goes in securely and accurately, and it ensures the air filter can be reached easily, with no tools, by taking off the left side panel, for simple track-side maintenance. All SX and SX-F models also come with a vented air filter box cover in the by-pack.

• SERVICEABILITY

Through its engineering and design, the KTM SX and SX-F range gives riders service parts that are simple to reach, along with suspension adjustability. That allows quicker maintenance at the track and in the off-season, and it makes motocross simpler for novice riders who don't have pit crews. A new threaded radiator cap for 2026 opens more easily and quickly with less force.

• PERFORMANCE

Tilting the KTM SX-F engine backward by 2° greatly improves mass centralization and lowers overall weight, which benefits handling and anti-squat behavior. Working together with the mapping switch, a silencer delivers improved response, and it gives the exhaust a slightly quieter note.

• ABSOLUTE CONTROL

Prepare for an all-out attack on the berms. Revised frame updates on the KTM SX and SX-F machines were developed with input from KTM Factory Racing. To begin with, the rear shock mount area has been streamlined, with optimized engine mounts and cut-outs that improve chassis flex. At the front, the frame gets optimized wall thickness along with updated engine mounts.

• ERGONOMICS

Bi-compound plastic tank shrouds direct air to the radiators more efficiently, while a concise fuel tank roll gives a tighter, more secure fit, lowering the chance of frame scrubbing and dramatically boosting durability. Together with the specially-developed rider triangle, all of this delivers unmatched knee contact and grip surfaces - particularly when standing on the pegs.
