A super grippy seat cover, now black, also keeps you seated exactly where you need to be when you twist the throttle!

• Spending less time wrenching means spending more time riding, and that's exactly why the simple, tool-free, no-nonsense filter mounting system will win you over. The air intake's stronger one-piece design guarantees maximum airflow, and you know what follows... maximum power! As before, getting to the air filter for inspection or replacement couldn't be easier. Just remove the left side panel and you'll reach the airbox in no time.

• Today's frame strikes the ideal balance of razor-sharp handling and exactly the right amount of flex. Lightweight engine mounts fine-tune the feel while leaving straight-line stability untouched, and clever material changes, such as a slimmer upper shock mount and thinner walls at the front, cut 300g. Created alongside the GASGAS Factory Racing crew, this setup remains planted and lets you push harder through every corner, with a big smile on your face.

• Made entirely of aluminum, the subframe is both light and strong, and it operates as a single unit with the mainframe by helping centralize mass and contributing hugely to the bike's outstanding handling traits.

• 48mm WP XACT closed cartridge forks are fitted to the EX 300 for the simple reason that they're just that good. On the outside, they adjust easily by hand; on the inside, the latest technology stops the oil from foaming, giving consistent performance on every bump. The springs and pressurized oil chamber guarantee progressive fork action, and a hydrostop helps you hold forward momentum by softening the sting of hard landings.

• One motor that does everything! Whether you shift early or hold every gear, the revitalized EX 300 motor, now with fuel injection added, puts even more distance between this bike and the competition by delivering usable low-end torque and high-revving peak power at the top. Riders who go wide open gain the most from the motor's internal counter balancer shaft, since it holds vibration to an absolute minimum. A new protective cap on the fuel connector adds durability and blocks dirt, ensuring dependable performance in even the harshest conditions.
