AHEAD OF THE GATE

• Easy Suspension Adjustment

Just like before, both ends of the suspension can be set up easily with no tools, so you can hunt down the podium in complete control. At the back, riders can tune high- and low-speed settings within seconds using a dual compression control that adjusts by hand. Up front, the forks are likewise simple to adjust, thanks to hand-adjustable clickers at the top cap and at the bottom of the fork shoe.

• Air filter box

Built for maximum airflow, the air filter box uses inlet ducts placed with precision that are intended to prevent air deformation and preserve filter protection. A simple, fail-proof mounting system on the Twin Air filter and its support design lets the filter be installed safely and accurately, and ensures the filter can be reached easily and without tools by taking off the left side panel, making track-side maintenance easy. Every SX and SX-F model also comes with a vented air filter box cover in the by-pack.

• Serviceability

• Launch Control & Quickshifter

Launch control: ON! Built with the holeshot in mind, the 2025 KTM SX-F range comes standard with launch control and a Quickshifter function that permits quick upshifts with no clutch needed. Activating launch control is easy, as you just push the traction control and Quickshifter buttons at the same time, and it operates by restricting the power sent to the rear wheel, boosting traction, and stopping loss of control during hard acceleration. The Quickshifter function, for its part, lets you slam through 2nd to 5th gear while keeping your attention entirely on the first corner.

• Selectable Maps + TC

On the 2025 KTM SX models, the map select switch has a simpler design that makes it easier to change between 2 engine maps. Map 1 delivers a more linear power curve, while map 2 hits all-out with aggressive throttle and explosive power. Fortunately, traction control can be flipped on or off with ease from that same switch, ensuring maximum traction and a clear advantage in wet or muddy conditions.

To begin with, the section of frame surrounding the rear shock mount has been revised and streamlined, gaining new engine mounts and cut-outs for better chassis flex. The front of the frame has been updated as well, with a wall thickness that differs from the previous model year and renewed engine mounts.
