2025 Husqvarna® FC 450

The FC 450 remains the flagship of the Husqvarna Motorcycles motocross range. For 2025 it keeps its class-leading performance thanks to a new chromium molybdenum frame that is lighter and perfectly balanced, boosting agility without giving up stability in a straight line. Other upgrades include new Dunlop Geomax MX34 tires tested in racing, plus ergonomic bodywork carrying new graphics inspired by Sweden, applied with in-mold technology so the finish is striking and long-lasting.

• Powerful engine

Advanced engineering techniques give the FC 450 engine maximum performance. The engine is light, weighing just 59 lb (26.8 kg), and is designed to centralize mass for better handling, and it significantly improves the chassis's anti-squat behavior. Service markers added to the engine cases make the FC 450 engine easier to service than on previous models.

• Lightweight frame

For 2025, there is less material in the frame around the steering head and shock mount, and revised wall thickness in areas of higher stress improves overall strength. Combined, these changes cut 300 g from the frame's weight for better cornering, unparalleled feedback to the rider, and energy absorption. Cut-outs in the new engine mounts improve how the chassis flexes, lower weight, and contribute to stability that inspires confidence. A premium metallic blue powder coating finishes the frame, and frame protectors provide superior protection, durability, and grip in any condition.

• Functional bodywork

The new bodywork is designed so riders can perform at their very best for long stretches of time. After countless hours of testing and refinement, larger contact points and surfaces in the rider triangle boost comfort, which in turn helps reduce fatigue. A seat that is higher and wider allows unrestricted movement, while revised tank shrouds and a high grip cover make sure riders stay firmly planted under hard acceleration

• Wheels and tyres

The FC 450's wheels are built with CNC-machined hubs, lightweight spokes, and strong black-anodized D.I.D alloy rims, delivering strength and minimal unsprung weight. Newly fitted Dunlop Geomax MX34 Motocross tires use a proven block-within-a-block design for better control and superior grip across a variety of riding surfaces.

• Map select switch

Mounted on the handlebar, the intuitive Map Select Switch lets riders activate Launch and Traction Control, turn on the Quickshifter, and switch between two engine maps. Simple to use, the Map Select Switch gives racers a quick way to alter and set up engine characteristics for each race according to track conditions and rider preference.
