The CRF450RX is based on the race-proven CRF450R platform and comes packed with off-road must-haves such as terrain-taming Showa suspension and an 18-inch rear wheel. On tight trails or in wide open spaces, this bike provides podium-grade performance along with the signature durability Honda is known for. Quick. Rugged. Prepared for wherever the course leads.

Possible features include:

• 450cc Unicam® engine

The Unicam® cylinder heads from Honda blend single- and double-overhead-cam designs, producing a compact engine with a narrow valve angle. That permits a higher compression ratio and a lower center of gravity.

• Decompression system

Our engineers upgraded the auto-decompression hardware over the previous generation, relocating it from the cam's right side to its left. The result is less stalling at low rpms and improved rideability, particularly while turning.

• Responsive frame

Excellent handling hinges on a superior frame, and this chassis comes through. Light and responsive, it uses narrow main spars, and Team Honda HRC riders gave direct input on its design.

• Tripleclamps, axle, and steering stem

Versus the previous generation, we revised the tripleclamps, frame, fork, and steering stem for greater chassis rigidity and responsiveness, giving the bike a better feel in corners.

• Hydraulic clutch

A hydraulically actuated Nissin clutch is fitted to this bike. It shares its design with our Grand Prix MX machines and has a pull that's ten percent lighter. You won't have to adjust a clutch cable, even over long events.

• Race styling

As on our factory racebikes, the CRF logo is stacked and uses our "in-mold" graphics, which are designed to stay durable after repeated track sessions and washing.

• One-piece radiator shrouds

Computational Fluid Dynamics was used by our engineers to fine-tune the radiator shrouds for greater cooling efficiency. Their one-piece design ensures steady power output and keeps the engine from overheating.
