• Easy Suspension Adjustment

Suspension setup on the 2024 KTM XC and XC-F range requires no tools at all, front or rear. With an all-new WP XACT Closed Cartridge spring fork and a revised shock absorber, getting your cross-country machine dialed in is as easy as a twist of the throttle. At the back, dual compression control that adjusts by hand lets riders change high- and low-speed settings within seconds. Up front, the forks also adjust easily, using hand-adjustable clickers located at the bottom of the fork shoe and on the fork top cap.

Few 4-Stroke powerplants in the pits are as manic as the one in the KTM 450 XC-F, and its SOHC engine shows itself to be the perfect example of advanced engineering. Tilting the engine 2° backward and setting the sprocket low, combined with the benefits of mass centralization and lower weight, gives the chassis anti-squat behavior that is second to none. However gnarly the trail gets, control stays with you thanks to a frame design focused on the rider, engineered not just for longitudinal rigidity but also to move rotating mass closer to the center of gravity. The thick walls of the frame also boost reliability and flex characteristics, and they deliver unmatched rider feel. The shock mount also delivers the perfect amount of anti-squat for better traction when exiting corners, and the footpeg mount is placed to lower the risk of snagging on rocks or roots. On top of that, forged brackets on the lower frame rails make the standard skid plate easy to remove and install.

The swingarm is hollow and die-cast from aluminum, designed to deliver optimal stiffness and reliability at the lowest weight possible. A 22 mm rear axle is also fitted to suit the chassis's flex characteristics. Together with the chain guard and chain gliders, this results in better durability and a lower chance of catching on boots or outside objects on the trail, while also cutting down on dirt buildup around the swingarm and chain guard.
