• ADJUSTABILITY

The KTM 50 SX was given a variety of adjustability options based on scientific statistical data and young racers' feedback. Height-adjustable suspension, adjustable handlebar positioning, subframe, and bodywork make it easy to set up the perfect fit for your little ripper. As a result, seat height can be set anywhere from a low 634 mm to 682 mm, while from the factory the KTM 50 SX comes standard at 653 mm.

• IGNITION

Cleaner combustion and smoother power delivery come from a digital ignition with improved processing power. A key advantage is individual ignition timing throughout the whole rpm range, the same as on the full-sized KTM SX range. A new stabilization cap on the throttle cable assembly lowers the risk of kinking and damage, which extends the cable's lifetime.

• CARBURETOR

In the KTM 50 SX, a proven Dell'Orto type PHBG 19 BS carburetor plays a prime role in delivering the goods, operating in perfect harmony with the engine, exhaust, and air intake design.

• PERFORMANCE

Modern and compact, the KTM 50 SX engine relies on the latest 2-stroke technology. Its 3-shaft design places the crankshaft close to the center of gravity, which aids mass centralization and also produces the ideal intake angle into the reed valve for top-level performance. For 2026, newly developed transmission shafts have wider dimensions, and several components have been reinforced for enhanced durability.

• POWER-REDUCTION KITS

The KTM POWERPARTS catalog gives absolute beginners a choice of two power-reduction kits. One provides an entry-level, moderate and controllable reduction to 4hp, while the other is a more intermediate power kit that unleashes 8hp for mid-level riding.

• CLUTCH

A centrifugal clutch on the KTM 50 SX cuts complexity for younger riders and helps build riding confidence. Precise, predictable power delivery across the RPM range comes from the multi-disc clutch, which can be tuned to rider preferences or track conditions with no special tools required. Also, a reinforced clutch basket brings extra durability, wear, and consistent performance. The quality of the clutch itself gets a boost from a high-strength pre-coat and higher tightening torque for dependable fastening of the entire assembly.

• SPARK PLUG

Worries about breaking the plug are a thing of the past, since the KTM 50 SX uses a BRISK spark plug with a longer thread. This innovation also means the part number is printed on the spark plugs so it's easy to read.
