• Sitting at the very peak of 2-stroke performance, the TC 250 engine weighs only 52.6 lb (23.9 kg). Equipped with the newest technical innovations, the TC 250 includes electronic fuel injection (EFI), which lowers running costs, eliminates the need to change jetting, and ensures reliability. Electric start further adds to how simple this popular model is, and it guarantees quick starts in every situation.

• Bore on the cylinder measures 66.4 mm, but now that EFI has been introduced, an electronic exhaust control system takes the place of the traditional powervalve. This highly innovative technology controls the opening of the lateral exhaust ports ahead of the main exhaust ports, delivering strong, controllable power. A machined finish on the exhaust port's upper contour provides improved port timing and unrivaled performance.

For reliability, the lower subframe spars and frame mounts are produced from cast aluminum. Injection-molded polyamide forms the subframe's upper section, enabling specific flex characteristics and ensuring the construction is lightweight.

• The ergonomic bodywork was designed so riders can perform at their best in every race. Extensive testing made this possible, with smooth contact points in the rider triangle letting racers clamp the machine tightly with their legs, reducing fatigue. In-mold graphics on the radiator shrouds add to the machine's progressive appearance, while the tall, wide seat allows unrestricted movement.
