• Engine

Weighing just 52.6 lb (23.9 kg), the new TC 250 engine stands at the pinnacle of 2-stroke performance. Equipped with the latest technical innovations for 2023, the TC 250 gets significant updates, with Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) lowering running costs, eliminating the need for jetting changes, and boosting reliability. Adding E-Start further increases the simplicity of this popular model and guarantees quick starting in all conditions.

• Chromium molybdenum frame

For 2023, the proven chromium molybdenum steel frame has been refined. A new shock mount that no longer attaches to the main tube significantly improves the chassis’s anti-squat behavior. Wall thickness optimized in high-stress areas improves reliability, and the frame still provides advanced geometries and flex characteristics intended to deliver unparalleled rider feedback, energy absorption, and exceptional straight-line stability. A premium white powder coating finishes the frame, and redesigned standard frame protectors provide superior protection, durability, and grip in any condition. In addition, forged brackets included on the lower frame rails make it easy to install the skid plate, which is offered as a technical accessory.

• Functional bodywork

Clean design and ergonomics inspired by Sweden are tailored so riders can perform at their best over extended periods. Reworked through countless hours of testing, the contact points and surfaces within the rider triangle have been repositioned for 2023 to make the motorcycle more comfortable. A flat seat permits unrestricted movement, and its high-grip, ribbed seat cover ensures riders stay firmly planted under hard acceleration.

• Wheels and tires

The TC 250’s wheels are built from CNC-machined hubs, strong spokes, and black-anodized alloy rims by EXCEL, and they carry DUNLOP GEOMAX MX33 Motocross tires featuring a proven block-within-a-block design for more progressive cornering and superior grip. A 110/90-19 rear tire gives the TC 250 improved agility on the track and stability through ruts, while an 80/100-21 front tire ensures optimal handling across a variety of riding surfaces.
