• Engine

The TC 250 engine represents the peak of 2-stroke performance, making 53 hp while weighing only 23.9 kg. Equipped with the latest technical innovations, the TC 250 has electronic fuel injection (EFI), which lowers running costs, eliminates the need for jetting changes and boosts reliability. Adding electric start further increases the simplicity of this popular model and guarantees quick starts in every situation.

• Cylinder

Bore on the cylinder measures 66.4 mm, but with EFI introduced, an electronic exhaust control system takes the place of the traditional powervalve. This highly innovative technology controls the opening of the lateral exhaust ports ahead of the opening of the main exhaust ports, delivering strong, controllable power. A machined finish on the exhaust port's upper contour gives improved port timing and unrivalled performance.

• Chromium molybdenum frame

Material is distributed in an optimized way around the steering head and upper shock mount, so the frame provides confidence-inspiring handling and assured stability on corner entry. Complementing the machine's overall look, the chromium molybdenum chassis wears a premium, metallic blue powder coating. Frame protectors add the finishing touches, guarding the paintwork and also giving riders extra grip, even in the toughest conditions.

• Functional bodywork

The ergonomic bodywork was designed so riders can perform at their best through every race. Extensive testing made this possible, with smooth contact points in the rider triangle letting racers grip the machine firmly with their legs, which reduces fatigue. Radiator shrouds with in-mold graphics add to the machine's progressive appearance, and a tall, wide seat allows unrestricted movement. A high-grip seat cover also helps hold riders securely in place during hard acceleration.
