Prepare to find out how a marble shot from a slingshot feels. Down low the KTM 150 SX pulls hard, through the middle it gallops, and up top it sings. That's exactly where it belongs.

BEFORE THE GATE

• Easy Suspension Adjustment

As always, setting up the suspension is simple and needs no tools at either end, so you stay in total control while hunting down the podium. At the back, riders can tweak high- and low-speed settings within seconds using a dual compression control that adjusts by hand. Up front, the forks are also simple to adjust, thanks to clickers you can turn by hand on the top cap and at the bottom of the fork shoe.

• Electronic Fuel Injection

Throughout the 2-stroke KTM SX range, pre-mix has been remixed, and Electronic Fuel Injection sets the standard. Fussy jetting setup before a race is now a thing of the past. And because of the Keihin EFI and the reed valve case design, you're guaranteed to put down optimal power at any altitude, at all times.

• Electric Start

Imagine it: you're 7 laps deep into a total ripper of a race. You blow your line and stall in a deep rut. No sweat, though. You just hit the starter button and launch back out to grab the final flag. On the 2025 KTM 150 SX, that's how it really goes. With a 12,8V 2 Ah lithium ion battery positioned beneath the rider's seat, a high-quality stator & pickup and an extremely robust design, ass is the only thing you'll be kicking.

• EFI + Power Valve

EFI brings excellent rideability. On the KTM 150 SX, electronic fuel injection works together with a power valve, making more usable power available across the rev range. Power that's smoother delivers better traction. And better traction delivers holeshot heaven!

• Performance

Plenty of the 150 SX engine's parts were rearranged, modified, or built from scratch. Weighing in at just under 18 kg overall, it's a powerhouse without equal. Engineered to deliver more torque than its stablemate, the KTM 125 SX, it stays faithful to its nature and keeps its typical high-revving lightweight 2-stroke character.

• Selectable Maps

A map select switch on the 2025 KTM 150 SX lets the racer toggle between 2 engine maps. The White Map, or Map 1, runs a leaner air-fuel mixture and gives linear, predictable power delivery that's ideal for attacking hard-packed dirt. The Green Map, or Mapping 2, is instead tuned with a richer mix for loose, thick sandy conditions.

CALM UNDER FIRE

• Absolute Control

Prepare for an all-out attack on the berms. Major frame updates taken straight from Factory Racing efforts have gone into the 2025 KTM SX and SX-F machines. To begin with, the section of frame around the rear shock mount is updated and more streamlined, with new engine mounts and cut-outs that improve chassis flex. The frame's front area has been updated as well, using a wall thickness that differs from the previous model year along with renewed engine mounts. Altogether, this saves 300g of weight and improves flex for better cornering.

• Ergonomics

Upgraded tank shrouds made from bi-compound plastics direct air toward the radiators more efficiently, while a new fuel tank roll creates a tighter, more secure fit, which reduces the chance of frame scrubbing and improves durability dramatically.
