On power-to-weight ratios, the KTM 300 SX is the one writing the rule book. Now carrying lessons learned straight from the KTM Factory Racing teams, along with a care package marked "Go get 'em!", the KTM 300 SX is engineered with a single purpose: leading from the front.

• Simple Suspension Adjustment

Just like always, both ends of the suspension can be set up easily without tools, ensuring you hunt down the podium with total control. Out back, riders can change high- and low-speed settings within seconds using a dual compression option adjustable by hand. Up front, the forks can also be modified easily, via clickers adjustable by hand at the base of the fork shoe and on the top cap.

• EFI + Power Valve

EFI brings great rideability. The KTM SX models combine electronic fuel injection with a power valve, giving more usable power across the entire rev range. Smoother power equals better traction. Better traction equals holeshot heaven!

• Complete Control

Prepare to attack the berms all-out. Major frame updates taken straight from KTM Factory Racing efforts have gone into the KTM SX and SX-F machines. To begin with, the region surrounding the rear shock mount has been streamlined, with engine mounts and cut-outs that give better chassis flex. Up front, the frame features optimum wall thickness along with renewed engine mounts.

• WP XACT Fork

First, the technical details: the KTM SX and SX-F line-up is fitted with 48 mm WP XACT AER forks that use a capsulated air spring and a pressurized oil chamber for progressive, consistent damping, while bypasses for oil and air reduce pressure peaks. Combined with the mid-valve damping system, all of this delivers exceptional feedback as well as rider comfort. The fork's settings also do more than complement the frame and the rear linkage; they ensure stellar performance at every level. On the subject of settings, they're simple to adjust through a single air pressure pre-load valve, plus easy-access click adjusters for compression and rebound. On top of that, the WP air pump required to set the fork's air pressure comes standard in the buy-pack.

• Absorbing Energy

The expertly crafted, hydro-formed, laser-cut, and robot-welded frame is engineered to deliver exceptional rider feedback and straight-line stability, and beyond that, the chassis is made up of specifically calculated longitudinal and torsional flex parameters. As a result, the frame works as a kind of "shock absorber," giving a less harsh ride and, in turn, less rider fatigue across many hard laps.
